The health industry and the market for the supported device is vast with many stakeholders, complex needs, and significant regulation. Rapidly and feasibly delivering a useful product to a global audience was paramount.
Laser focus on what mattered most was required, as additional features would extend development time and potentially impact uptake. The simpler the product to the user, the easier for risk-averse medical professionals to become comfortable with using it. This meant radically reducing the initial scope and focusing on the core selling point of the product: capturing high quality intraoral images.
